Sartori Ambiente has been awarded within the prestigious Sustainable Development Award, promoted by the Foundation for Sustainable Development in collaboration with Ecomondo, thanks to UrbaE, the new ergonomic container designed to revolutionize door-to-door waste collection.
The award, one of the most authoritative in Italy in the field of circular economy and ecological transition, is assigned every year to companies and innovations that offer a concrete, measurable and replicable contribution toward a more sustainable development model. The 2025 edition saw strong participation from companies and innovative players in the environmental sector, making this recognition even more significant.
The Commission highlighted several elements that distinguish UrbaE as a product capable of generating environmental, social and operational value in an integrated way, motivating the award with the following words:
“For the development of a container for door-to-door municipal waste collection, Urba E, equipped with an adjustable ergonomic handle, bottom grip, rear handle and pin system, which helps reduce the physical effort of operators during collection and emptying, decreasing their discomfort and sick leave.”
