Our ethical manifesto in practice

Our ethical manifesto consists of 8 principles that we hold dear and that guide our choices. Throughout the year, we have shared these principles with you through real-life cases we have carried out.
As this is the last newsletter of the year, we are delighted to share them with you all, with the hope that they can serve as a foundation for creating new, innovative principles suitable for our world.
The goal is to work constantly and consistently with and for the environment.

Safeguarding the environment is our primary responsibility | Principle #1
The ISPRA Urban Waste Report provides valuable data for those working in the sector to understand trends and, in our case, to identify where we can offer our support to improve outcomes.
Data is essential for continuously improving our solutions for pay-as-you-throw waste management: UrbaUrbaPLUSArco40EVO.

Leaving a clean world motivates all our actions | Principle #2
We strive to do our part as individuals and as a company by making choices that have the smallest impact on our planet.
This is why we use carbon-neutral natural gas for both our headquarters and operational facilities, thanks to Dolomiti Energia.
Our emissions are offset by supporting energy efficiency projects certified by international associations and NGOs.

Offering tailored solutions so everyone can contribute to environmental care is our commitment | Principle #3
Just one kilogram of used vegetable oil can pollute 1,000 square meters of water. That’s why it is essential to properly collect and recover used oils through proper waste sorting.
What did we create? UrbaOIL.
A container specifically designed to manage used vegetable oil in households.

Sharing our principles and goals with collaborators and clients is one of our ways to foster an environmental culture | Principle #4
“Happy Friday afternoon. This is our #27 newsletter, filled with choices, news, and passion for the environment.”
Those who already receive it know that our newsletter politely arrives on the last Friday of each month.
We dedicate time and care to it because we want to convey to everyone who reads it the dedication we bring to our work.
Events, innovations, and reflections on environmental matters are the key topics addressed each month; a way to provide our contribution to fostering an environmental culture in a concrete and passionate manner.

Researching and innovating are the actions through which we develop solutions increasingly suited to the characteristics of each place and situation | Principle #5
Why create a project with the University of Trento and ABC Latina based on Nudge Theory?
Nudge Theory relies on small psychological “nudges” to encourage more sustainable behaviors without imposing direct restrictions. The goal is to facilitate more eco-friendly decisions through subtle interventions that can significantly impact individual and collective behavior.

Building networks and fostering accurate information are essential for developing a virtuous global mindset | Principle #6
At Sartori Ambiente, we firmly believe that building networks and fostering accurate information are fundamental steps to developing a virtuous global mindset. Principle #6 emphasizes the importance of uniting forces and knowledge to tackle current environmental challenges and promote a sustainable future.
Collaboration among companies, institutions, NGOs, and citizens is crucial for successful sustainability policies. We provide educational resources and regular updates on our progress and the sector’s advancements through our communication channels.

Promoting solidarity, inclusion, and generational equity is our wealth | Principle #7
The exchange of ideas across gender, religion, ethnicity, and culture leads to personal and professional growth, a value we constantly pursue.
The Monte Rock Festival, initiated by the Youth Council of Montevecchia and now a Cultural Association, has created a platform to share music, sports, and opinions.
Its stage is set in the Curone Park, blending the association’s themes with environmental and social sustainability.
As these topics are essential to us, we decided to support the initiative by becoming sponsors this year.

Promoting social sustainability and caring for the well-being of workers and users of our devices helps us design with a human-centered approach | Principle #8
We at Sartori Ambiente understand that people are at the heart of every productive and operational process. This is why we integrate practices that ensure a safe, inclusive, and stimulating work environment for all our employees.
